Our infused honeys have been selected by Slow Food USA as one of the "very best of the good, clean and fair products made or grown in the United States." We will be featured in the Taste Pavillion of their first annual national conference, Slow Food Nation. The conference, held in San Francisco over the four-day Labor Day weekend, expects to see 3,000-6,000 people each day in the Taste Pavillion. Check out our local Slow Foods chapter and all the great things they are doing around Columbus.
Whole Foods Market Columbus will begin stocking nearly our entire line of herbal skin care products beginning in late July.

This past winter we lost only a few hives due to weather or our error in hive placement. We started the season with 17 hives. We bought ten new packages and then the swarms started! We've had so many swarms this year that we've run out of equipment and have had to turn away swarm calls. All of our hives have swarmed at least once and some have several times. Swarming behavior tells us in the biodynamic method that our bees are healthy and thriving. We now we have 37 healthy hives. They've been a lot to keep up with! We've seen no sign of disease or stress due to hive pests or disease.
