Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association (OEFFA)
OEFFA is a grassroots coalition of food producers and consumers formed in 1979 to support and promote a healthful, ecological, accountable and permanent agriculture system in Ohio and elsewhere. Mockingbird Meadows is a member of OEFFA and supports locally-focused, responsible agricultural products and practices.
Biodynamic Farming and Gardening Association (BDA)
BDA is a non-profit membership organization that encourages the education and use of biodynamic principles…the oldest, non-chemical agricultural movement predating organic agriculture. The Association encourages Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) and biodynamic methods for environmentally-wise farming. Mockingbird is a member who believes in farming practices that are healthy and safe, respecting the soil as the foundation of life on earth.
United Plant Savers
UPS is an organization dedicated to ensuring an abundant renewable supply of medicinal plants for generations to come by protecting native medicinals and their habitats in the United States and Canada. Mockingbird Meadows is a member of UPS and supports the preservation and cultivation of medicinal herbs to encourage a healthy way of life.
Central Ohio Beekeepers Association
COBA is a non-profit organization affiliated with the Ohio Beekeepers Association that was formed in 1975 to promote and further the interests, well-being and education of apiculture and related industries in Central Ohio. Mockingbird is a member who supports the protection and enhancement of local beekeeping as an integral part of the nation’s food supply. We encourage everyone to learn about the importance of bees and the need for more holistic approaches to beekeeping.
Sage Mountain Herbal Retreat
Sage Mountain is an education center and native plant preserve in the mountains of Vermont that is one of the foremost learning centers in the U.S. for herbal and earth awareness. Internationally-known and highly respected herbalist Rosemary Gladstar lives and works on her 500-acre retreat teaching the art and practice of herbalism. Dawn graduated from Rosemary’s apprenticeship program and is a certified Community Herbalist… growing, practicing and teaching the importance of herbs. Mockingbird Meadows is focused on the medicinal benefits of both herbs and honey as part of a healthy lifestyle.
Scioto Gardens
Scioto Gardens is a Central Ohio nursery in a unique setting that emphasizes native species and new plant varieties not commonly available. Mockingbird Meadows supports Scioto Gardens as an important source for high-quality, well-cared-for plants suited to the experienced gardener and environmentalist.

As the newest addition to The North Market, The Greener Grocer offers fresh grown, often organic and fair-trade products from local farms.
Slow Food Columbus
The mission of Slow Food Columbus is to bring people together to enjoy the pleasures of the table while carrying out the Slow Food mission at the local level: to defend biodiversity in our food supply, spread taste education and connect producers of excellent foods with co-producers through events and initiatives.
Café Brioso
Located in downtown Columbus, Café Brioso focuses on providing high-quality gourmet coffees, loose-leaf teas, and coffee accessories, as well as a made-from-scratch daily menu of sandwiches, soups, salads and baked goods. Owner-roastmaster Jeff Davis has prepared a special blend for us that we use in our artisanal honey infusions.
Harmony Farm
A fellow biodynamic farm in Dayton, Ohio, they are "a natural place for health and healing of body, mind and spirit."
